HOMEMADE BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Apply the properties of chemistry and physics and make your own cosmetics! Get your apron on, it is time to get to work.
Kiwi tonic: You can use this one to clean your face but also as an astringent. Here's what to do:
Peel a kiwi and blend it up.
Put this kiwi pulp into boiling water (1 cup) and then let it sit for 30 minutes. Strain this mix and then add one tablespoonful of Vodka (you'll have to ask your parents for this!). Wash your face with this mixture and then rinse with warm water.
Jell-O for your toes: This is a refreshing way to cure aching feet.
Buy a pack of gelatin at the supermarket. You want plain gelatin not Jell-o or anything else with sugar. Make the Jell-O as you usually would, but add double the water so that the Jell-o doesn't get too thick.
When you get home from a really tiring day at school or from shopping, you can pull out a large tub, add the Jell-O mixture you've made up and stick your tired feet in it.
Blueberry lipgloss: You will need some special ingredients for this one.
In a jar, add a tablespoon of sweet almond oil, 10 blueberries and a spoonful of honey.Put this into the microwave until it is boiling.
Then mash the remaining blueberries. Strain the mix to get rid of any excess fruit bits.  Pour this liquid into a vial. Then wait for it to harden up. In a few hours you will have a red lip balm all your own.
Go ahead and give some of these recipes a try. You have nothing to lose!
